About this work

Description

This programme looks at the link between the kind of radiation used in x-rays and cancer. It traces the discovery of radiation-induced cancers and provides case studies from the general public and explanatory accounts from the medical profession. There seems to be no general concensus as to what is a 'safe' level of x-ray exposure and where the use of x-rays should be limited.
