    Report from 31st December, 1922, to 81st December, 1928 :— The Centre was closed from the 14bh December, 1922, for sickness, and re-opened on the 8th February, 1923. The mothers were able to obtain Glaxo, etc., during that period from the Secretary, and Virol, etc., from Nurse Laws. 569 lbs. of Glaxo were purchased, an increase of 139 lbs. 5 tins of Virol 140 lbs. ,, 28 lbs. 1 gall. Virolax „ 1-gall. 80 lbs. Ambrosia (new food). 2 tins of Ambrosia Milk Rusks (86 packets). 32 lbs. Ambrosia and 16 lbs. Glaxo were given free to mothers who were unable to pay for it. EDITH K. During the year the following cases were admitted from the Borough :— Scarlet Fever ... ... ... 23 Diphtheria ... ... ... 4 Enteric Fever ... ... ... 0 27 One of the Diphtheria cases proved to be negative. The following were admitted from the Rural District Scarlet Fever ... ... ... 5 Diphtheria ... .. ... 7 Enteric ... ... ... ... 0 12 This gives a total of 39 cases, as compared with 69 last year. There was no death during the year. Small Pox. Arrangements have now been made for the removal of any case, should it occur, to the Small Pox Hospital at Skipton.
