The interior of a grand rotunda based on the Pantheon, Rome, or possibly the basilica of Constantine, which is adjacent to a sanctuary of Bacchus. An aged priest is conducting an animal sacrifice on an altar. The colonnade around is thronged with spectators or worshippers
