Description

In the centre is the church of San Girolamo degli Schiavoni. On the right is the Palazzo Borghese. In the foreground are the new steps designed in 1703 by Alessandro Specchi (1666-1729), which were destroyed when the Tiber was embanked, with the fountain by Filippo Bai in the forms of the impresa of Pope Clement XI. On the Tiber are shown the vessels of the wine- and olive oil-merchants
