Description

Inhalers administered medicines directly into the lungs of people with asthma. This lung condition causes shortness of breath. Treatments placed in the rubber bulb were breathed in through a mouthpiece or nose piece. This example was made by Rybar Laboratories Ltd. in England. Rybar inhalers were sold into the 1960s. They were also available on the National Health Service.
