N.B. These remarks were sometimes in haste put down without regard to regularity of succession, as the page occurred on opening the book. Author's holograph MS. The author adds on the fly-leaf `For the Index, vide the New Dispensary, the 2nd edition under the covers'. The latest entries are concerned with the war in America, 1775.
