Chromatium okenii (thiorhodaceae) : flagella movement.

This film shows movement of flagella in chromatium okenii through slow motion cinematography. The different effect of flagella movement is demonstrated as push and pull movement. It shows that the swinging movement of flagella occupies considerable space during pushing as compared with pulling.
