    PET ANIMALS Six premises were registered under the Pet Animals Act, 1951 to conduct a business involving the sale of animals as pets. Of these, three businesses restricted their activities to the sale of fish, one to the sale of birds, while two dealt with the full range of pets. Periodic visits were made to check on the manner in which pets were kept and displayed.
