From the Collection of the Dowager Marchioness of Thomond, niece of Sir Joshua Reynolds. Sold at Christie’s on May 18th, 1821, when it was bought by Mr. Lambton, afterwards the first Lord Durham. From the Collection of the Earl of Durham, 1932. Exhibited at the British Institute, 1813. Exhibited at Manchester, 1857. Also exhibited in later Exhibitions.
