Mr Elmore, who is "now in London" comes highly recommended as "an energetic merchant" trading with Bombay. Burroughs suggests looking him up to see if he will "push our goods". Reference to Mr Ballantyne, and to Mr Bowden (who "wants to canvas the whole of India").
