In Sir F. Smith's 'Early history of Veterinary Literature' 1924, Vol. II, pp. 111-130, there is a long and eulogistic notice of Clark and his works, who had qualified at Edinburgh in 1770, but of whose life little seems to be known.

This MS. is a copy of the first edition of Clark's work.
