    SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA. Water Supply. The district is within the area of supply of the Woking and District Water Company. The water was found to be satisfactory in quality and in quantity. No bacteriological examinations were made of the raw water but chemical and bacteriological examinations were carried out on the treated water. During the year sixty-one samples were taken by the Public Health Department and submitted for bacteriological examination at the Public Health Laboratory at Guildford, all were bacteriologically satisfactory. Three samples were taken by the Council’s Analyst and were examined bacteriologically, chemically and physically.
