Description

Black and white photograph showing the appearances found on opening the chest of a boy two years of age, who died of acute miliary tuberculosis, with interstitial emphysema of the lungs and mediastinum. Large air bubbles are present beneath the pleura and scattered through the tissues of the mediastinum.
