Description

Colour card advertising Mellin's Cod Liver Oil Emulsion. The illustration shows 5 baby girls sitting down. One is drinking the Emulsion, the others are either wanting it or looking curious about it. It was meant to be "of immense utility" for bloodlessness, anaemia and neuralgia and as a preventative in the early stages of consumption. Possibly 1890s.
