Tuberculous lymphadenitis

This high power view of a lymph node section shows four pink-staining, acid-fast bacilli (AFB). Three of the bacilli are contained within the central Langhans' giant cell, and one is seen in the adjacent macrophage. This is the usual visible density of AFB in a solid lesion in people who are not immunocompromised. Ziehl-Neelsen (ZN) stain.
