Description

Projet d'une histoire des pierres. Par Mr. Scheuchzer l'aîné, médecin de Zurik. Author's holograph MS., with many corrections. This MS. is a criticism of the 'Specimen lithologiae Helveticae curiosae' first published by Johann Jacob Scheuchzer [1672-1733] at Zürich in 1702. In his opening sentence the author says: 'Il y a 18 ans au moins que Mr. Scheuchzer ramasse toutes les sortes de pierres'.
