Description

This film shows how to evaluate whether a baby is born prematurely or has a low birth weight. There are babies in incubators. A black pregnant woman has a sample of amniotic fluid taken for testing. The indicators of a premature baby relate to certain reflexes which are present at different weeks of gestation eg. pupils reacting, sensitivity to light.
