Description

Notes taken from a Course of Dr. Hunter's Lectures: (on Anatomy and Physiology). Inside the upper cover is inscribed 'Wm. Guy No. 2 Cheapside Side Shoe Maker': who is apparently the writer of the MS., and who may have been a surgeon at Chichester, and father of William Augustus Guy, M.D., F.R.C.S., F.R.S. [1810-1885]. Produced in London.

'Dr' Hunter must be William, not John Hunter. Some of the lectures are given by Mr [William] Cruikshank
