About this work
Description
It is estimated that in 2050 there will be more people in their 80's than there will be under 5's. In the first of a four-part series, Connie St. Louis examines the pre-occupations of this new 'fourth age' group with particular focus on how illness, physical limitations and frailty affect the over-80's. The programme is illustrated throughout with accounts from people in their 80's.
