Description

Gough, loc. cit., doubts the identification of the subject as the marriage of Henry VI and Margaret of Anjou, on the ground of anachronisms in the costumes; raises the possibility of it showing the marriage of Henry V with Catherine of Valois at Troyes; adduces objections to the latter theory also; and finally leaves the question open. The provenance of the window is traced to one of the two churches in Rollright, Oxfordshire
