About this work

Description

Elliant is a town in Brittany, north west of France, near Quimper. A plague which afflicted the town in the 14th or 15th century was described in a traditional Breton song in the collection Barzaz Breiz, which was published by Théodore Hersart de La Villemarqué in 1839
