About this work

Description

Postcard showing Charles Sherwood Stratton as General Tom Thumb standing, arm in arm, with his wife, Lavinia Warren Stratton. Facsimiles of their signatures with a dedication are printed on the reverse. The card would probably have been sold as a souvenir at places where they were exhibited as part of a freak or variety show.
