Folder 1: Includes The Voices Project pack on becoming an effective user representative; final project report, 1997; NCT memorandum and articles of association, 1989; NCT policy statement on sponsorsip and commercial relationships, Feb 1998; report of the consultation exercises on commercial sponsorship and breastfeeding promotion, 1998.

Folder 2: Originally kept together in a folder as a resource pack in the NCT library. Includes papers for Maternity Service Representatives, including "The Voices Project: about the National Health Service", 2997; NHS, "Maternity Services Liaison Committees: guidelines for working effectively", 1996; RCOG, "Organisational Standards for Maternity Services: report of a joint working group", 1995; National Association of Health Authorities and Trusts briefing, Jan 1996; and other papers relevant to Maternity Service Reps. Also contains various NCT leaflets, information and booklets, including publications and information on Parentability, NCT, "What Women Want from midwives, obstetricians, General Practitioners, Health Visitors, Anaesthetists", 1995. Non-NCT publications include "Breastfeeding: good practise guidance to the NHS", 1995; Commission for Race Equality, "Race Relations: code of practice in maternity services", 1994; the Association for Community-Based Maternity Care, "The Case for Community-based Maternity Care", 1996; as well as general leaflets from AIMS, MIDIRS, and Cochrane Library. Also includes audio cassette for the Voices Project, "Being an Effective User Representative".
