Description

Control of vector-borne diseases: treating blankets with insecticideInsecticide treated blankets The male inhabitants of this Afghan refugee camp in Pakistan are participating in a randomized trial at community level to treat their blanket wraps with insecticide. The men wear blanket wraps (chaddar) around their shoulders and neck and it common to sleep with the wrap. Therefore, it was thought to be a good material to treat as it would protect the person from biting sand flies as they slept.
