About this work

Description

In summer 2011 the Wellcome Trust commissioned two reports on the learning of science in informal settings outside school. The reports, from (UK-based) GHK Consulting (GHK) and from (USA-based) Stanford and Oregon State Universities, were published in November 2012. This briefing picks out the key themes arising from these commissioned works and provides a perspective from the Wellcome Trust on the findings.
