It again proved possible to carry out a full inspection of all premises during the year under review. In respect of 180 premises inspected it proved necessary to serve 38 notices and 22 notices had been complied with by the year end. The majority of the notices served were in respect of licenced premises principally in relation to sanitary accommodation, as it was thought that the time was op- portune to insist on the provision of properly equipped urinals in place of the fairly common rendering. Most of the work had been completed by the year end.
