Sacchetti Barbosa, Joao Mendes (1714-1780)

A Narrative of certain very strange Substances excreted by the Mouth, transmitted to Dr. de Castro by Doctor J[ua]n Saquett. On the first leaf is a holograph covering letter dated January 28, 1747/8 from Dr. Jacob de Castro Sarmiento [1691-1762], addressed to M. Folkes stating that he has himself translated the paper into English. Endorsed by Folkes: 'No. 4. 3d March 1747 [1748]. It was apparently not published. Produced in London.
