Baldo's Blood and Liver Pills which were supposed to cure: biliousness, costiveness, indigestion, headache, foul stomach, loss of appetite, dysentery, haemorrhoids, coughs, colds, fever, ague (malaria) and dyspepsia as well as purifying the blood. The illustration shows a purple woman's shoe overflowing with snowdrops.
