    books, and little presents for needle work. None are more sus¬ ceptible to the sentiment of being cared for than the insane. The recommendation of the Commissioners in Lunacy as to a Night Watch has been adopted and hitherto satisfactorily. We regret to state that the Abblett Fund ” has languished during the past year, no addition having been made to its funds. We feel assured that its benevolent objects need only be more generally known to be more liberally supported. We cannot conclude without a grateful tribute of thanks to the Chairman, and the House Committee, for their confidence and sup¬ port, and our Colleagues in Office are respectfully assured of our high sense of their valuable assistance.
