    farm buildings, which was much required owing to the largely increased numbers of the Patients. Eight additional single rooms are required in the present Building for the reception of Patients under excitement, and for the erection of which the sanction of the Court and Council is required. The recognised proportion of such rooms in other Asylums is11 to every 4 or 5 Patients, whereas our proportion is 1 to 6j. Mr. Rowe has estimated the cost at £450. Besides this £450, a sum of about £600 will be required on Capital Account to complete the new Buildings, and provide for other requirements, in addition to the £8,000 already ordered to be raised, as appears by the following statement:— Sum ordered to be raised.
