The above Letter was printed not without the noble Lord’s Confent ; who, being requefted to permit, that this Teftimony might be exhibited to the World of his Lordfhip’s Efteem for Mr, Robins, replied in the politeft Manner, That every Thing in his Power was due to the Memory of one, who had defervedfo well cf the Public. Mr. Rebins was alfo preparing an enlarged Edition of his New Principles of Gunnery, and as there would have been made great Improvements in what was already publifhed; fo the geometrical Part was intended to be added,* as is learnt from fome Memorandums, he left behind him.
