About this work

Description

Photograph showing a visual representation of the feelings and phenomenon that occurs just before the migraine pain begins. The image depicts the sensation that everyone is rushing around the individual with the migraine at a faster pace than the individual can manage. The sensation follows that of pre-migraine when the individual goes from a feeling of speed and urgency to one of sluggishness when all bodily functions slow down and feel heavy. Movement becomes an effort and the brain appears to disengage and cease functioning at a useful level.
