10 January, 1895. Telegram, from Antibes to Mrs Burroughs, Durrington Lodge, Surbiton. "Send cycle bag and tyres from closet...." Together with a letter from Mrs Burroughs to Mr Davies requesting him to attend to her husband's request.
16 January, 1895. J D Gilbert, West Newington Liberal & Radical Association, to Burroughs, asking if he would be willing to stand in forthcoming London County Council elections. With a response from Burroughs (21 January): "though I would esteem very highly the honour of representing them I am prevented by business engagements and because my health will not admit of any increased demands upon my time."
28 January, 1895. Small bundle of correspondence relating to Nanni, Dalmazzo & Co. Burroughs: "I have carefully considered this matter, and am satisfied it would be a very risky undertaking, and I could not give my consent to such purchase or any plan for establishing our own depot or branch in Italy."
7 February, 1895. Telegram, from Monte Carlo, Mrs Burroughs to Burroughs Wellcome & Co. "Burial Services here tomorrow at three."
February 1895. "List of Books (Mr Burroughs's Personal Library) sent to Mrs B as executrix" [typescript, 6 sheets].
