Description

Herbal medicine. Angelica archangelica (Angelica). Tall umbellifer with pale green flower heads. Its candied stems used to decorate cakes and trifles. The seeds are used in preparing Vermouth and Chartreuse. Also used to relieve colds, coughs and rheumatism. Contains coumarins.
