The seventh in an eight-part series in which a pioneering team attempt to counter certain medical conditions by using food as medicine. The team include dietitian Lucy Jones, GP Gio Miletto and consultant surgeon Shaw Somers. Over three months they will attempt to treat a number of condtions without prescribing a single drug. This time they meet a 47-year-old with abdominal bloating who turns out to have Metabolic Syndrome, a young woman with bad breath, a woman who has suffered for thirteen years with chronic fatigue syndrome and a 51-year-old with high blood pressure. Meanwhile Dr Pixie McKenna talks to a top cancer expert about which foods are good to fight off cancer cells and which are bad.
