The upper design shows a scene from a Kabuki play 'Adachigahara', based on a local story. The image below of 'Jizō', depicts the changeling diety as an old man pulling down his eyes and mouth. The lower right design shows a geisha (?) awaiting a boat on the east bank of the Sumida at Mukōjima, with the Matsuchiyama temple and hill seen in the distance, beyond the river
