    t a membraneous Cyft,wThichadhered firmly to the • internal lamina of the Pceritoneum, extending from the brim of the Pelvis to the Epigaflric re¬ gion, which had contained the collection juft mentioned, and by its weight and magnitude it had prelied the Inteftines into the upper region, immediately againft the Diaphragm. The fupe- rior extremity of this Cyft, with the pofterior la¬ mina of tlie Omentum.,having formed a complete Septum, in a parallel direction with the Dia¬ phragm, made a diftinct cavity, which contained the Abdominal Vifcera in a found (late ; hut the Intedin : Colon efcaping out of this cavity, took adire&ion in a right line clofe to the Vertebra of the back, and under the posterior furface of the greatCyft,limilar to the palling of the Oefo- phagus through the Thorax ; and the inferior extremity of the Cyft, with the contiguous mem¬ branes.
