About this work

Description

Folded leaflet asking for donations to set up 6 residential homes for young blind children ("babies") around Great Britain where they can learn to read Braille and Moon and massage as a potential career. A Home Teaching branch gives instruction in people's own homes and homes are available for ex service soldiers and sailors (St. Dunstan's). The 6 illustrations show the children playing, being bathed by nurses, having dinner, on a country hillside picking buttercups and a map of Britain showing where the projected homes are going to be.
