Top, an "Explanation" or key to the plan, a compass and a rococo border. Left and right, Aloe africana plants. Right, the arms of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries. Centre, the statue of Sir Hans Sloane. At the foot, fashionable strollers in the garden walk along the bank of the Thames
