Redtenbacher, Joseph (1810-1870), Professor of Chemistry at Vienna University

Letters to Andreas von Ettingshausen (1796-1878), professor of physics at Vienna. Redtenbacher was a student of Justus von Liebig (1803-73), and the majority of these letters were written from Giessen during the period 1839-41 referring to work in Liebig's laboratory.
