About this work
Description
A curious story of some Devils that appeared in a gentleman's house in Silesia. Translated from Godelman [sic]. Written on the rectos only, probably by Dr. Thomas Joseph Pettigrew [1791-1865], from whose collection it came. It is a translation of extracts from Godelmann's 'Tractatus de magis, veneficiis et lamiis', printed at Frankfort in 1591.
