It admira¬ bly removes that oppressive langour produced by unusual heatf so frequently oppressing the Inhabitants of crowded Cities—the Sedantry and Infirm.—It promotes Appetite, restores the im¬ paired Organs of Digestion, braces the Solids, corrects all ten¬ dency to putrescency in the Blood, Bile, or animal uices, and by invigorating t e System universally, produces that desirable state of Body and Mind so comprehensively described by Juvenal :— . ■ » ' i “ MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO ” The Advantages of taking this Medicine in the form here re¬ commended are self-evident.—All Stomachs, however delicate and averse to fluid Medicine, are capable of bearing the gradual solution of Pills, by which its continued adtion is for a much longer time kept up, and its subsequent effedf on the System generally, greatly assisted. The Proprietors are far from supposing their Medicine a Spe¬ cific for every disease ; but they are sufficiently confident, that in all diseases depending on universal Debility, languid,, Circula¬ tion, an impoverished state of the Blood, or tendency to pu¬ trescency in the Animal Juices, an impaired state of the Organs of Digestion, or relaxation of the Muscular Fibres ; its salutary effedfs are wholly unrivalled.—In this Climate, where these Symptoms are so frequently prevalent from the ‘uncertainty of our Atmosphere, the discovery of a Medicine equal to counter¬ acting such effedls, must be equally important and desirable ; as it must be evident to all, that Constitutions thus reduced, are the immediate subjects of mfedtion from epidemic and contagious Disease, Consumptions, Nervous Weaknesses, &c.—-The -re¬ moval, therefore, of such effedls, is a matter highly necessary, and calling for immediate attention and relief; this, the Proprie¬ tors have the satisfaction of asserting, may be certainly and effectually obtained by a short recourse to this INCOMPARABLE RESTORATIVE. It is a received and well founded Opinion, that (( Nature (pro¬ perly assistedJ will in many Cases best point out, and ffe.B, her own made of Cure”—-This opinion the Proprietors are confirmed in, by the a Ft ion of ASS 14y which evidently consists, in strengthen- ing the System generally, and giving additional energy to the circu¬ lating Fluids, thereby enabling her not only to throw off redun¬ dant and offending matter, by insensible and'salutary evacuations ; but to break through such obstructions as unobservedly impede a free and vigorous Circulation.—It is, therefore, highly useful as a certain preventative of low putrid Fevers, and every species $f infection from malignant and contagious disease.
