One of a series of photographs showing methods of refuse disposal in Kamaman, Trengganu, Malaya, presented to the Wellcome Library by A. Thomas, Health Inspector, Trengganu. Accompanying notes to a duplicate set of prints explain that the PSP material on the filled portion of the trench in this photograph was used to facilitate eary running of the trucks and to give compression and produce internal combustion, on which the success of the tipping depended
