re the pathogeny and nature of Paget's osteitis deformans, Recklingshausen's fibrocystic disease of bones, rachitis, hypervitaminosis B, etc. Secondary parathyroid hyperplasia. Differential diagnosis of above diseases and also rickets. Endocrine function of carotid bodies (for comparison); probably reverse of that of the parathyroids
