ERADICATION OP BED BUGS. 1, Number of Council Houses infested 5, « other » »' 11, 2, The method employed for freeing infested premises is by a general spraying with insecticide followed by fumigation with sulphur. 3, The disinfestation is carried out by the Local Authority, 4, As far as possible the occupiers are advised how to prevent reinfestation, 5, In the case of other vermin, cockroaches, eto,, material is supplied to the occupiers of the infested buildings, SCHOOLS, The sanitary arrangements and water supply of the schools continue to be satisfactory. The water carriage system of sewerage is in operation at all schools and water is supplied direct from the Council's mains. Refuse is collected at regular intervals.
