79 ll. 4to. 20 1/2 x 14 cm. Original vellum binding, one corner torn away. 2 cross-stitches at outer corners of front cover; spine in 2 parts top stitched on. Paper. Written space 130x85mm. 18 long lines. Collation: 1 (10) wants 10 after f. 9, cut out 2-6 (8), 7 (6), 8-10 (8). Written in a semi-current italic hand. Second folio: 'que in aliis'. f. 32v sketch of a horse, f. 34r sketch of a ship, both in text hand.

Ownership note

On f. 1r in an early modern hand is written 'Bibliothece Sarteschiorum de Fivizzano', then in another hand 'Aquini' and in a third 'Tractatus de regimine sanitatis' and 'Prosperi de Sarzana che fiori nel 1530'. On f. 79r, in an early modern hand 'La carta e i caratteri de questo manoscritto sono del quattrocento' and 'Medici di Fivizzano nel 300 e 400. Maestro Francesco Medico di Fivizzano. Franciscus Casani. Maestro Matteo Stradello medico'.
