Description

Artzney-Bueck darinen widerschidliche gebrente Wasser, sampt ihren Eigenschafften und Wurckhungen, wie ein jedweders zuegebrauchen zu finden. Welche alle aprobiert und in Anno 1660 widerumben von neuem beschriben worden. Partly calligraphic title in red and black: some of the letters in the first index have historiated decorations in red. On the verso of the second leaf is pasted an engraving of St. Francis of Sales by Gustav Andreas Wolfgang [1631-1716]. The second part consists mainly of receipts for ointments and plasters. Inside the upper cover is inscribed 'Erolzheim den 4 September Anno 1674', and below a name partly rubbed out 'Philipp ... boder'.

1 volume 18 ll. + 270 ff. = 1 l. + 153 ff. + 6 ll. 4to. 201/2 x 16 cm. Original stamped pigskin binding over wooden boards: parts of both clasps missing.
