A speech, intended to have been delivered at a general meeting of Protestants, in Newcastle; held at Mr. Brodie's Long-Room, Feb. 29, 1780. for the purpose of petitioning Parliament to repeal the act in favour of papists. Published by Order of the Committee, And humbly recommended to the serious consideration of such Protestants in Britain, as do not see the danger of Popery at this time, nor the necessity of Petitioning Parliament.
