About this work
Description
An album of photographs taken by F. Uher, taken during a Sleeping Sickness survey of Obudo Division, Ogoja Province, southern Uganda, in May 1945. This album documents physical ailments caused by Sleeping Sickness and other tropical diseases. Also includes photographs of the doctors accommodation and environs. A few loose photographs are included in the back of the album. Some personal photographs have been removed from the album and are retained by the family.
