About this work
Holograph note-book containing notes of experiments, etc. on radio-active substances, with rough pen-drawings of apparatus. Dated from 27 May, 1899 to 4 December, 1902. Produced in Paris.
1 volume 76 ll. + 5 ll. 8vo. 161/2 x 101/2 cm. Original cloth covers.
Pasted on the upper cover is a small label inscribed 'M. Curie 1900'. Inserted is a visiting card 'Madame P. Curie Professeur à la Faculté des Sciences', with a two-line inscription acknowledging the receipt of a book from Dr. de Fleury (i.e. Paul Louis Édouard Maurice de Fleury [1860-1931]), and five sheets (v.s.) of work-notes, one dated 1902.
